The "NRW meets NL" project
Electric mobility will play a central role in a sustainable future transport system in NRW, in the Netherlands and worldwide. Electric mobility is not only limited to the deployment of electric-drive vehicles but also very much characterized by the need to develop a needs-based recharging infrastructure, regulatory frameworks and business concepts and so on.
Both our nations have ambitious goals regarding the number of registered electric vehicles by the year 2020. Cooperation in the field of electric mobility between NRW and the Netherlands help both countries to benefit through synergy effects to realize the numbers. We all have to agree, that electric mobility is not a subject of one country, mobility is international.
